Back to the US story.
While staying at the Fitzgerald's (thank you, Kaf) on a rainy day we decided to get the famous free ferry to Staten Island (just like Harlem the Staten Island’s name come from the Dutch).
The ferry itself passes close to Elis Island on which the Statue of Liberty stands. This is the closest I’ve been to it. The queues are impossible.
The white race is not represented well on Staten Island. The place itself is not as bad as I expected and the parks are very beautiful.
When I watch the pictures now, I don’t think Staten Island is at all interesting. The most interesting part about it is the ferry and the view towards Manhattan. Manhattan is awesome.
It was so foggy that day, but that makes the view so much more surreal.
